We are Angelenos hailing from different parts of the country and from different parts of the world, who have one thing in common - the dream to make things better. We all understand how we are no longer mere citizens. We are consumers. And we know there is power in being consumers. We say yes to the things we buy and we say no to others. We call it voting with our dollars. And that, is taking control of our choices and what's available to us. Because when we talk about a consumer revolution, we walk the walk and we OWN IT.

The co-op is being managed by two existing local purveyors of artisanal food, home goods and gifts. This management team reports to the member-owners and board of directors. Both will take leadership in business development and strategy.

Craft & Main is responsible for digital operations. It has ceased operations of its online shop, which will now be taken over by Craft/Main & Co. (the co-op). Craft & Main oversees website development, branding, marketing and advertising for the co-op.

barrio.la is responsible for inventory and fulfillment. Their site still exists as a standalone local gifts shop. But in addition to the awesome operations that they already have in place, they will also be in charge of inventory management, packaging, shipping and customer service for the co-op.

Board of Directors

There will be a total of nine (9) board of directors at a time, who will be delegated to lead separate executive committees. Each year, we will have a nomination and election process where three Directors will be elected. Each director will serve for a three-year term, or until a successor is installed. The term of Board members begins July 1. Learn more about eligibility and responsibilities by checking out Article V of our Bylaws.
